Hannah & Henry Nappy Bag Review
After the last 5 years of needing to take very minimal things out with me, I’ve now found myself needing to use a nappy bag again. And I’ll be honest, nappy bags have become SO much more stylish over the past seven years since I had Jack. Many of them now look just like normal bags, come in a range of colours, and fit in with the wearers personal style.
When I was pregnant, I was very kindly gifted the Chelsea Convertible Nappy Bag from Australian bag brand Hannah and Henry. I had actually seen this bag online and thought it was absolutely gorgeous – it didn’t look like your typical baby bag at all! Coming in three colours – chocolate, tan and black, this bag can be worn three ways, making it the perfect addition to any mama’s wardrobe.
Now the Chelsea Convertible Bag from Hannah and Henry is seriously roomy, and you can easily use it as a nappy bag or even an overnight bag for bubs (we used ours as baby’s hospital bag!). There are so many internal pockets making it easy to keep things organised, and there are two insulated bottle pockets. All in all there are 13 compartments in this bag, allowing you to store and find things easily when on the go.
It's also easily cleaned and the who bag can be wiped down, making it great for any accidents that might happen. Since it's made from vegan leather it is very durable and stands up to being thrown in the bottom of the pram or into the car. It's easy to tell it's very high quality and well made - all the seams are sewn well and the stitching is neat and tight. Most importantly, the handles and straps all feel really robust. Plus there's a one year warranty on this bag - I haven't seen a bag brand offer something like this before!
As I mentioned above, this bag is convertible and easily converts from a traditional bag to a crossbody and then to a backpack. All the straps are provided for the simple transition and they all store easily into the bag. The bag also comes with stroller clips, allowing you to hang the bag from your stroller if you prefer.
This bag also includes all the extra bits and pieces you might need for mum life, this includes a change mat, stroller straps, a seperate pouch, and a bottle holder - all in the same matching colour as your bag. The change mat has been a lifesaver so many times!
Best of all, this bag isn't just a 'baby bag'. Thanks to its design it can also be used as a work bag or large tote, and has enough space to fit a 15" laptop in the hidden laptop compartment! This makes it still usable even once baby is no longer a baby! It's also very light at only 1kg, so you can load it up with everything you need without worrying that it will be too heavy.
